OUR MISSION



JS Perfect Peace Ranch with the assistance of The Pines Ranch Outfitters #855, is a faith-based organization for veterans by veterans.


We honor our veterans, active military, first responders plus youth and families through Equine Assisted Learning, outdoor activities and general ranch living with the teachings of Christ and Christian faith at the core of our program.



We are committed to offering hope to those veterans, first responders, youth and families that are suffering from PTSD, suicidal thoughts and broken homes or families, through God’s word and attitude in a restful setting in the beautiful mountains of Colorado.



We offer Equine Assisted Learning sessions, outdoor activities and general ranch living.

Our program utilizes many proven training tools programs that have been developed by other long-standing organizations from across the country such as, The Remount Foundation at USAF Academy, Summit Eagle Ranch Westcliffe, and Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch Oregon, as well as Greg Kersten's OK Corral Series.


At JS Perfect Peace Ranch, we are working to develop an experience that will leave each person with a deeper understanding of who they are within their experience and how to stand strong in the things that they face. We make every effort to integrate connection and community into all the work we do.

HELP US FUND A HOME FOR OUR HEROS

Our first and foremost goal is to purchase a permanent home where we can provide one-on-one EAL sessions.

A residential program will be offered as an alternative to the veteran leaving their home because of the damages caused in the family as a result of PTSD issues.

We will offer family sessions to help bring reconciliation and assist in finding healing for the wounds of the heart through faith in Jesus Christ and his teachings.

There will also be family programs geared specifically for the children of the veterans. Horseback riding, hiking, fishing and other outdoor activities will be a major part of the children's experience at the ranch.

An Amazing Healing




Equine-assisted work honors the natural behavior of horses and herds. Horses are skilled at keeping themselves safe and adept at survival their natural behaviors are optimal for mental and physical health. In many respects, humans have lost the instinct to keep themselves safe and healthy. We entrust horses to show us the way back.
EAP and EAL allows for people to find healing, growth, and deep connection through the healing work of God and horses. Horses allow us to create a much needed opening that builds relationships with not only with them, but with ourselves, others and God.
Horses help mirror and reflect the process and emotions that are happening within us and around us. They also help us to define and see patterns that are deeply embedded in us.
EAL is a field of practice based on the successes of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. We have learned that EVERYONE can benefit from equine assisted work, not just therapy clients. EAL uses equine assisted principals and exercises in a variety of arenas from corporate retreats to church groups and personal coaching.
